KAREN DRYER, Voice Teacher/Coach, NYC
is a singer/songwriter and musician, who has been teaching, playing and singing all over the United States and Canada. This multi-faceted perfomer is a musical-director, conductor, pianist, singer, and teacher. She has toured with 3 Broadway National tours (Annie, Jesus Christ Superstar, and the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) as musical director and conductor, and is now thrilled to be a part of New York City and Liz Caplan Vocal Studios. Karen is excited to be working with such talented and dedicated students.
NICHOLAS HERMAN, Voice Teacher/Coach, NYC
Nicholas is a Music Director, vocal coach, pianist, vocalist and music arranger with a Master's in Musical Theatre Performance from New York University and a Bachelor's in Music Education from Anderson University. Currently, Nick is a Vocal Director at Royal Caribbean Productions, where he teaches shows to casts in addition to vocal arranging and studio work. Nick also served as a Vocal Coach at New York University, where he also worked on Kiss of the Spider Woman, And the Tony Goes To… Revue and Violet. Nick is excited to continue his craft by becoming an Associate at Liz Caplan Vocal Studios.
NANCY MCINTOSH, Voice Teacher/Coach, Seattle
Originally from Lewiston, Idaho, Nancy McIntosh is an accomplished musical theatre performer and teacher. Having spent the last 24 years in Missoula, Montana, Nancy has become well-known in Missoula's theatre community, performing in musicals, concerts, cabaret events and solo recitals. In addition to performing, Nancy is an accomplished musical director and conductor, most recently musical directing productions of White Christmas, Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado, and Montana Lyric Opera's children's summer opera camp. She also has served as Montana Lyric Opera's Educational Outreach Program Director.
Nancy has been teaching voice for over 20 years and recently became a licensed associate for the Liz Caplan Vocal Studio in New York City. She taught voice at Missoula's Next Step Prep, a summer intensive program for aspiring musical theatre students from across the country, helping to bring artists such as Jason Robert Brown, Georgia Stitt, Seth Rudetsky and Marni Nixon to Missoula for workshops and performances. Nancy holds a B.A. in Music from the College of Idaho and a M.M. in Vocal performance and Musical Theatre from the University of Montana. Nancy's practice is now based in Seattle, Washington.
