Heidi Landis, Acting Coach, NYC
Heidi teaches acting to young performers as an associate of Liz Caplan Vocal Studios. She is an accomplished actress with both a BFA in Musical theatre from the Boston Conservatory, and an MFA in acting from Carnegie Mellon University as well as an MFA in Acting from the Moscow Art Theatre School. Ms. Landis is an accomplished actress with many credits in theatre, camera work, and voice overs. She has been an associate of Liz Caplan's since 1999 and acts as Ms. Caplan's personal and studio full time assistant.

Katie Luekens, Voice Teacher/Coach, Westchester, NY
Katie Luekens works as an associate for Liz Caplan in Westchester. She holds a BA in Music from Valparaiso University, and a Master of Music from Colorado State University. Katie has been an associate of Liz Caplan's since 1998. She is an accomplished musician and performer.

Carla Smith, Associate Voice Teacher/Coach NYC
Carla began her studies as a Vocal Performance major at Ithaca College.  Upon graduating, she began her own career in Musical Theater and has performed in numerous musicals.  In addition to her musical theater credits, Carla has sung with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops Orchestra, the Philadelphia Opera Company, and has performed as a choral and oratorio artist in countless concert halls.  As a recording artist, she is most recently heard on the Philadelphia Choral Arts Symposium CD featuring new compositions from local and national composers. Her love of vocal pedogogy and theory has kept her busy as both a teacher and student.

Kimberly Stern, Voice Teacher/Coach, NYC

Kimberly graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College. Kim has has both studied and trained as an associate of Liz Caplan's for over a decade. Ms. Stern has performed on Broadway as a young actor and brings her vast experience to Liz Caplan Vocal Studios.

JOANN M. HUNTER , Private Dance Instructor
JoAnn M. Hunter is currently performing in her 12th Broadway show, "Thoroughly Modern Millie", where she plays the role of Gloria, understudies Bun Foo and is the Dance Captain. Her other Broadway credits include Suzanne in "Thou Shalt Not", Lois/Bianca in "Kiss Me Kate", June and Dance Captain in "Chicago", Hannah and Bette understudy in "Steel Pier". Vibrata in " A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum", Dance Captain for "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying", "Damn Yankees", Mimi in "Guys and Dolls", Yvonne in "Miss Saigon", Kiku and the Dance Captain in "Shogun, the Musical", and featured in "Jerome Robbins Broadway".

JoAnn has toured Nationally with "Chicago"(June) , "Cats"(Victoria, the White Cat), and "West Side Story". Her Regional credits include Anita in "West Side Story", Cassie in "A Chorus Line", Fumiko n "Sayonara, and "Time and Again".

JoAnn has had the privilege of working with some of the finest directors and choreographers in musical theatre: Michael Mayer, Susan Stroman, Michael Blakemore, Scott Ellis, Jerry Zaks, Nicholas Hytner, Jerome Robbins, Cathleen Marshall, Rob Marshall, Rob Ashford and Ann Reinking, to name a few.

Liz Caplan Vocal Studios is so lucky to have JoAnn Hunter on board as an associate. Liz has known and worked with JoAnn for many many years and trusts her level of integrity and holds her work ethics in high regard. JoAnn Hunter's work with the individual will prepare them as well as offer the comfort level needed to brave the competitive dance classes in New York City. And she will also teach group classes.
